What kind of blog should i write

I think I had it for 6 months and was able to make some money with it. The downside is that I hated writing content for it. I had no interest in junk cars, I just went into that niche because of the money.

I eventually, let that site go and now I am in a niche that I love. I too write about the techie stuff of blogging. I am not a designer or PHP developer. I am working on my blog to move away from freelancing so I can work full-time on my blog.

However, I decided to go for it and just do it. Not enough to walk away from my WordPress freelancing gig. But in time, I have no doubt my dream will become a reality. It just takes a lot of hard work, but I always make sure that I am doing something for my blog everyday. It does take a lot of hard work! Keep it up. Hi Kristie, Thank you for this blog post. Anyways, my husband randomly suggested I just start reviewing the makeup samples that I get through my Ipsy subscription.

Also, I seriously relate to your domain name! Thanks again! I love long comments, so than you! Having support from family especially husbands is very helpful with blogging. Exactly what I needed to hear, some people blog about everything until they find their niche. Its nice to know Im not alone either! I like to write and I started my blog with intentions of starting a creative writing blog but have yet to come up with even the slightest idea of what to use as content for a creative writing blog.

When I research similar blogs, all that comes up are blogs with writing prompts…. Any thoughts on this pls. Had been through the great blog of yours. Truly inspiring. I am planning to start a niche-less lifestyle blog where I would write about any thing that I like till I find my niche.

I cannot decide a good name for the same and for domain as well. A lot of people who start out that way, blogging about everything until they find their focus, use their own name for the site and domain. It gives you some freedom for it to become whatever you want it to.

Hey kristie,, well I had read out all the stuff you have shared for the beginner bloggers.. As my hobbies include a bit of all the mentioned categories like art,design,travel,cooking,fitness.. This is a really good blog post. I have just started up a new blog recently kissmeonline. This post is really going to help me a lot! Thank you for the useful information. Should I have a more narrow focus?

Good question. A lot of it depends on the purpose of your blog and who you intend to be your audience. There have been a lot of interesting posts by other bloggers lately about how to run a nicheless blog.

You could be successful with a focused blog about all the things. Let me know if you need any help starting your blog. Do you think my idea is a good idea and if so, what are topics I could write about? In addition to tips, you could just be a tall size fashion blogger. I feel that I need some sort of premise to put the comedy into! I guess the main idea is to just keep writing posts! A comedy blog sounds like fun, I think a premise would be good, but until you find one that works for you, just start writing about a bunch of topics.

Good luck Calum. Hi Kristie. I am so confused about what kind of blog to start with. So i just typed in google and your link was the first one to pop up and i just went through all the information that is shown and quite frankly i am inspired to start a blog.

Hoping to seek some opportunities in life. It sounds a little different i guess, but i would really like some advice on that? What do you think? Hi Nikhit! I think a travel blog would be fabulous! Sometimes, blogging helps us get out and be accountable for doing the things we want to do most. Start by documenting the local travels you are taking already and start that blog of yours! This post and your entire blog has been so helpful. Im thinking of starting a blog on high school with study tips and advice etc and youve really inspired me to get started.

Id like to hear your opinion on it? A lot of people start successful blogs focusing on different studdy tips and advice, so I would think a High School focused one would be great too. I have been blogging for two years now. I have come to realize a few things so I really want find a new niche or something new to blog about. That got me thinking about reorganizing and purging, which is all I seem to be doing these days.

My question is how do I share these ideas without taking pictures? Since I am living with my in-laws, I am not sure how they would feel about pictures from inside the house being shared online. Is there way I could still share this journey without having alot of photos? Another thing I do alot is game. But would a gaming blog really do well? People are really interested in simplifying and minimalism.

As for pictures, try and find bloggers that talk about similar things and see what kind of pictures they use. I think a lot of nature, peaceful pictures could be good. I wanted to just post about my life and some of everything, crafts, diy, food, pet things, fashion, makeup a little of everything?

That sounds like a great start! Most bloggers blog about a little bit of everything at first, until they really find out what they like posting about. I never know what category to call my blog.
